Save the Date for #iGiveCatholic 2024 –

Giving Tuesday, December 3!

This is a special opportunity to celebrate our faith and to show our gratitude for the many blessings we have received by supporting the organizations doing the Lord’s work in the Diocese of Fort Worth. All parishes, schools, ministries, Catholic organizations and apostolates are invited to participate in #iGiveCatholic on Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024! If you’ve participated before, there are exciting changes to make this year’s Giving Day the best yet. If you haven’t participated, it’s time to join the 52 ministries in the Diocese of Fort Worth that raised $1,007,213 last year. For everyone, there are more reasons than ever before to take advantage of this event on Giving Tuesday, December 3.

What’s New in 2024?

• New Leadership and Local Support – and are now your local contacts for #iGiveCatholic. Because we are seasoned fundraisers who have used the platform for our own diocesan ministries, we are eager to assist you with strategies, developing your plan, and connecting you with all the resources available from #iGiveCatholic and Bonterra (formerly GiveGab).
• New Graphics - #iGiveCatholic has updated its graphics for 2024 to incorporate the well-known #GivingTuesday heart behind the familiar Loaves and Fishes (see above). You will want to take advantage of the new branding to enhance your fundraising efforts.
• Matching Funds – Because Rachel and Renée are fundraisers like you, we are already raising matching donations and prizes to augment the funds that you will raise on your own.
• Participating Costs Nothing – Although this has been the case since our diocese first became an #iGiveCatholic partner, it bears repeating that the Advancement Foundation pays the participation fee for each participating organization. This gives your parish, school or ministry access to the giving day platform, the graphics and promotional materials and the training and support!

What Are the Key Dates?

• Now through August 19 – begin brainstorming ideas, goalsetting and forming committees to jump start your 2024 campaign!
  You can review videos of past trainings at https://www.igivecatholic.org/info/trainings. Start securing matching funds! Also, let us know if you plan to participate and/or are still trying to decide so we can add you to our all-new distribution list for #iGiveCatholic.
• Monday, August 19 - Registration opens at www.igivecatholic.org.
• Now through November 15 – A limited number of yard signs and bulk offertory envelopes are available for pickup at the Advancement Foundation Offices, 201 Main Street, Ste 1198, Fort Worth TX 76102, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please contact in advance to reserve your quantities and ensure that we have your materials ready.
• Friday, November 1 – last day to register to participate
• Wednesday, November 13, 2-3 p.m. Final Steps for #iGiveCatholic (online training)

• Monday, November 18 – Advanced Giving starts!
• Tuesday, December 3 - #iGiveCatholic on #Giving Tuesday
• Tuesday, December 10 – enter all remaining offline gifts of cash and checks. Dashboard closes at 11:59 p.m.
